Acupuncture is the ancient Chinese practice that involves
puncturing the skin with hair-thin needles at particular locations, called
acupuncture points. Acupuncture is believed to help reduce pain or bring a body
function into balance.
People experience acupuncture differently, but
most feel minimal pain as the needles are inserted. The amount of time the
needles are left in varies. The practitioner uses a new set of disposable
needles so there is no risk of catching any diseases during treatment by
acupuncture.
Acupuncture can treat a variety of illnesses such as muscular pains, headaches,
digestive disorders and stress infertility, menstrual pain, insomnia,
migraines and low energy. |

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils, with healing powers
which help to restore harmony and balance to the body, mind and spirit.
Essential oils originate from wood, flowers, roots, leaves and
fruits and contain hormones resembling those naturally found in the body. They
have antiseptic, antiviral, analgesic and antibiotic properties.
Aromatherapy massage promotes a feeling of well-being which
can be relaxing or stimulating to the skin, nerve endings and muscles. Massage
also improves circulation and lymphatic drainage, removes toxins and promotes
vitality.

In life you need balance. Warmed volcanic rocks and subtly
cooled marble stones massage away life's tensions, and draw you into a truly
deep state of meditative relaxation ... like you’ve never experienced before.
This is LaStone Therapy, the original hot and cold stone massage.

Pediatric Acupunctue is a unique and painless approach to
acupuncture that does not use insertive techniques. Special needles designed
specifically for children are used. These needles are not inserted, but instead
may be either held carefully over the acupuncture point, or brushed gently along
the acupuncture pathways over the body using Pressing, Rolling, and Tapping
techniques. Pediatric Acupuncture is a very gentle and relaxing experience for
the child and for the parent.
Acupuncture is a universal treatment
protocol that can be used to treat many chronic and acute conditions commonly
found in children: Earaches, headaches, fevers, allergies and asthma; digestive
problems in newborns including colic, diarrhea, and abdominal pain; muloskeletal
pain and trauma; nightmares and sleep problems, and bedwetting. |

Clinical evidence shows that loving, touching, nurturing contact
between a caregiver and an infant has a positive effect on the baby's future
development. Infant massage is an easy and pleasant way of providing this early
interaction.
University of Miami Medical Center studies have shown that
premature babies who were massaged every day, developed more rapidly, both
physically and neurologically.
Many newborn nurseries are now adopting infant massage as part of
their parent education programs, to promote well-being and the loving bonds
between parents and their babies.
Benefits of Infant Massage.
- Enhances loving communication and nurturing parenting skills between
caregiver and baby
- Helps strengthen and regulate digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems
- Helps parents to understand and respond to baby's non-verbal cues
- Relieves gas and colic symptoms
- Teaches babies to be aware of, and how to release, their bodies' tensions
